Abstract

After three years of LLINCWA activities to stimulate the awareness on the existence of biolubricants, testing and demonstration of the performance of these products it can be concluded that biolubricants exist and that they form an excellent answer to the environmental demand for a reduction of the diffuse aquatic pollution with mineral oil. They exist but they are not available everywhere.
