Abstract

The leading concept in the EU Innovation programme is the conclusion that today the acceptance and integration of innovation matters is not only dependent on the new technical solutions they provide, but also on social, economical and environmental sustainability. Emphasis must be put on the non-technical aspects of the innovation process to realise a successful introduction of the innovative product. Therefore innovation projects make a combination of methodological research elements to produce new knowledge on economic, social and organisational aspects of innovation, with demonstration elements of technology transfer.
