Abstract

To study some properties of light irradiation for regulation of microbial growth and biosynthetical processes of yeast, heterotrophic bacteria and halobacteria a complex including non-monochromatic sources of light, lasers with changing wavelength of irradiation from UV to visible range and systems for cultivation of microorganisms during irradiation has been designed. Possible ways of application of the complex to study biosynthesis of various substances and processes of biological waste water treatment are discussed.
