Discussion of the paper. Modulus values for weathered rock from plate load tests, by D.J. Douglas
Abstract
It appears that in reducing the results of the plate load tests, Mr. Douglas has not taken account of the elastic interaction between the various parts of the system, and this omission may lead to significant errors.
