Abstract
Only a few decades ago, dynamic problems in Civil Engineering were solved through static methods. Nowadays though things have changed to such an extent that dynamic studies are paid on ever increasing attention. Some of the reasons for this might be: seismic actions heavy equipβment working at high speed effects induced by the ships during berth operations
