Abstract

In the field of the author’s work in the area of the behaviour of structures under swelling effects and foundations under cyclic loadings, this paper presents an approach of the modelization of a single pile under such cyclic loadings. To allow a clear study of each kind of problems (geometry, pile-soil behaviour), the case of an axially loaded single-pile will be considered.
