Abstract

As already pointed out, depending on the type of synthetic binder, fillers and aggregates used, and the methods of production, polymer concretes may possess varying density (300 to 3000 kg/m 3 or more) and strength (5-6 to 120-160 MPa or more), and can be used as heat-insulating, protective or decorative and finishing articles, as also highly loaded supporting structures.
