Sudden failure of coal pillars as a dangerous phenomenon in mining of inclined seams at great depth
Abstract
Sudden failures of coal pillars occur during mining of inchned seam. It is concluded that leaving of pillars should be abandoned. If this approach is not possible the way of proper dimensioning of the pillars is described
