Abstract

With the aim to predict the hazardous effects of stress in rock mass associated with the mining activity in greater depths the following research programmes have been performed: Working out the methods directed towards destressing the areas withthe most significant stress in rock mass. Working out the methods for evaluating the degree of risk of sudden outbursts in rock mass. Improvement of suitable measures for effective treatment of rock mass.
