Delineation and evaluation of rock types for construction material in an arduous terrain - A case study from Central India
Abstract
Satellite and aerial photographs were used in the delineation of various lithological and soil units and their utility in various civil engineering projects were assessed based on the physico-mechanical properties determined on the representative samples collected from the field, in the laboratory. Environmental parameters that are to be considered while removing this aggregates are also discussed.
