Abstract
Modem oceanography, a complex science, combines many of the scientific disciplines engaged in the study of the World Ocean. It deals with some properties of sea water: its movement, composition, physical characteristics, interaction with land and the atmosphere, various living organisms, economic and technical possibilities of its utilization and so on.
