Use of Spaceborne Multispectral Scanner Photographs in Geology
Abstract
Spaceborne multispectral scanner photographs of both low and medium resolutions, obtained from the experimental satellites of the Meteor-Priroda series, are of interest to geologists because of the large field of view, the high degree of generalization of the images of the earth surface compared to space photographs and the possibilities of study of the earth’s surface in several ranges of the electromagnetic spectrum.
