Abstract

The data obtained by a satellite measuring subsystem contain, for each individual element of discretization (or some combination thereof) information both on the type of the natural object associated with this element and on the characteristics of its physical state. Processing is reduced to finding that function of transformation of the data which has the required characteristics of the depicted object as values of the function. In the overwhelming majority of cases in addition to the measurement of spectral brightness from the satellite some values of the characteristics of the objects themselves or their environment, given or known or collected from special platforms during the space surveys, were used as arguments for these functions.
