Digital Processing of Spatial Multi-spectral Video Information
Abstract
Efficiency in studying the earth’s natural resources by spaceborne methods in many respects depends on the methods of processing the information obtained [ 1–12 ]. The essential problem of such processing of spatial multispectral information is that of determining the properties of the natural objects from the results of measurement of their spectral emission. The solution can be subdivided into various, more or less mutually independent, procedures (processing units). Depending on the problem to be resolved the algorithm of processing is organized as a particular sequence of the procedures discussed below.
