Calculation of normal frost heave force
Abstract
The process of frost heave force generation is analysed.A method for calculating the maximum normal frost heave force on a foundation bottom is also presented in this paper,based on the theory of elasticity and the principle of superposition and expressed in terms of soil properties,size of foundation and other related indexes.
