Monitoring the closure of a freeze wall cofferdam by water level observation
Abstract
An underground enclosure for a cofferdam can be made watertight by freezing the ground around it. This is called a freeze wall. This study is aimed at examining the questions involved in using the water level method which allows us to verify the completeness of freezing of the wall.
