Determination of the tangential heave force on the pile foundation in seasonal frozen zone
Abstract
The engineering practice shows that in the seasonal frozen zone the stability of the bridges on pile foundations is almost determined and controlled by its stability of frozen-move-resistance, that is in order to gąurantee the safety and reliability of an engineering structure, we have recheck the stability of frozen-move -resistance, To determine the value of the tangential heave force is the key point for checking the stability of frozen- move-resistance.
