USIM: An easy to use industrial simulator for mineral processing plants

USIM is a steady state mineral processing plant simulator, designed especially for use by process designers and engineers. Three families of USIM versions are available: USIM industrial versions, customized for the design and the optimization of a given projected or existing plant, the USIM exploratory version, for the early stages of a project and pilot plant experiments, and USIM hydro versions,,devoted to hydrome-tallurgical and chemical processes. The function of USIM and the practical ways of entering data and making simulations are presented. The methodology for building accurate industrial versions is explained and more advanced uses of USIM are mentioned.
