Abstract

Actual piping systems are generally supported at several locations or independent structures such as vessels and steel structures. These piping systems are subjected to simultaneous excitations by different motions at each support. A seismic design using the multiple input response analysis is one of the preferable approaches not only to reduce the number of supports but also to improve the reliability of piping systems.
