Abstract

When judding or predicting the effect of stabilization on soils, it is necessary, in many cases, to test each soil for different mix proportions to judge and confirm the effect on the soil. But this method is highly wasteful of time and money. If a method to estimate the strength of soils after stabilization from their physical properties is established, the effect of stabilization will be able to be estimated with certain level of accuracy from the results of easy-to-make physical tests, etc., though detailed judgement is left to mix proportion test. In the present paper, we try to collect data on chemical stabilization from all over the country ahd find relation between physical properties of soils and the effect of chemical stabilization.
