Comparison of the results of numerical and engineering stability analyses of the slopes of composite geological structures
Abstract
The paper presents a geomechanic model and results of stability analysis of the slopes of composite geological structure. Stability analysis is accomplished by engineering method and by numeric calculations of stress-strain state in linear and non-linear formulation for slopes in natural state and for construction period: taking into account partial slope cutting for dam abutment and excavation of deep pit in the river bed.
