Numerical analysis of slab foundations
Abstract
A Finite Element Model was used in order to study the settlements and internal forces induced in slab foundations. The analysis considered slab foundations of different flexural stiffness under framed structures with finite and infinite basal dimensions. The stiffness of the superstructure was not taken into account.
