Analysis of the nonlinear soil–structure interaction of offshore piles by an explicit finite element computer program
Abstract
This paper describes a computer program for the static and dynamic analysis of nonlinear soil–structure interaction of offshore piles. The solution of the static equilibrium equations are obtained by the optimum load time history dynamic relaxation algorithm and the equations of motion are solved with the central difference algorithm exploring the vector facilities of the VS FORTRAN compiler of IBM 3090 machine.
