A modern method of frozen rock mass control in the Underground Construction Enterprise KGHM in Lubin
Abstract
A description is given of a proved and recommended method of frozen ice wall control of shafts and other objects constructed with rock freezing. During thorough study of the frozen mantle development some factors hindering or impeding construction of frozen objects, as well as reasons for some hazards, were distinguished. This led to avoiding many break-downs.
