Abstract

Protecting financial transactions in the age of new technologies requires new approaches to the issues of transparency, trust, and performance. This paper focuses on this empirical literature review to examine the incorporation of blockchain, IoT, and DevOps to build an effective framework for protecting financial systems. Introducing blockchain’s fixed record keeping system, IoT’s real-time data collection and DevOps’ CI/CD system, the proposed framework greatly improves the security and accountability of transactions. Performance evaluation results depict a decrease in deployment errors to 40.4% and an increased deployment speed of 37% as well as a record breaking TPS of 500. This is the case when comparing the framework with other traditional systems like Bitcoin and Ethereum. However, scalability and integration issues remain a concern, but this study provides a reference model for redesigning the financial systems. The results can be used as a call to put into practice better technologies, to guarantee that future financial systems work effectively and are protected.
