A Vision-Based Learning Aid: Eye-Tracking Technology for Improving Focus and Handwritten Letter Recognition in Learning Disorders
Abstract
This research focuses on the design and development of an eye-tracking teaching assistance to improve attention and improve handwritten letter recognition between individuals with learning disorders, especially dyslexia and ADHD. The application acts as an interactive online platform that ties users through audio-visual feedback during annotation of handwritten alphabets. Integrated with eye tracking technique, the system monitors the user’s gaze to provide real-time response to a constant attention level. Especially notifies platform users. If they are distracted from the remark area or perform a quick eye movement, you can help them function and maintain commitment to work. By analyzing the eye pattern, the equipment also adopts instructional strategies for each user’s unique requirements and creates a customized learning experience. A strong handwritten letter recognition increases the purpose of identifying and enhancing the correct alphabet forms accurately, and helping to acquire the model. Early assessment tests indicate significant improvement in attention and letter recognition accuracy between users. This research emphasizes the ability of eye -tracking technology in educational interventions, and offers an accessible and efficient resource to support individuals with learning disorders in basic literature skills.
