Pneumonia Detection with Explainable AI
Abstract
The early diagnosis of a significant lung infection is typically challenging. Explainable AI (XAI), which provides comprehensible and clear explanations for model predictions, is a possible approach. The use of XAI algorithms for pneumonia detection is examined in this work. The goal of XAI is to increase clinician understanding, improve diagnostic accuracy, and allow well-informed decision-making through feature importance analysis, rule extraction, and visualization. The results show how XAI has the potential to completely transform the way pneumonia is treated by providing a more dependable and effective method of diagnosis and therapy
