Abstract

Materials engineering and synthetic structural biology have advanced since 1998, when RNA nanotechnologies were introduced. This novel method uses self-assembly processes to create homogeneous nanostructures with certain forms, architectures, sizes, stoichiometry, and profiles using RNA. Recently, self-referred articles addressing RNA nanoregulators and their usage in nanotechnology and nanomedicine have increased dramatically. Recent findings in RNA biology, biochemistry, and biophysics have made RNA nanotechnology one of the most advanced disciplines. These discoveries allow fundamental scientific notions to be applied to clinical and biological sectors. Over 50% of “junk DNA” codes for non-coding RNA. The wording must be altered. Scientists may now manufacture RNA nanoparticles to better understand how RNA structure impacts function, making illness diagnosis and treatment simpler. This chapter discusses RNA nanotechnology’s various nanomedicine and nanotechnology applications. This is done by discussing RNA nanoparticle production, purification, design, and characterization.
