Abstract

Healthy eating is the key path for the overall health of human body systems. Accordingly, healthy eating is a basic right. In this regard, brain health and function are essential for sustaining body health, and thus nourishing the brain with good foods is essential for mental health and well-being. To ensure safe, natural and healthy products, brain-boosting foods (BBFs) must comply with global regulations and safety standards, both existing and newly enacted, which must be equitably enforced across the entire brain food supply chain. In addition, continuous collaborative efforts must be made among all participants in this chain including consumers, scientists, food suppliers, food manufacturers and distributors, food markets, governmental organizations and country legislations. In addition, violations of legislative rules must be avoided.
