Abstract

The design and synthesis of metal alloy-based catalysts are crucial for tailor-made control of structure interfaces to enhance catalytic performance. This work explores various strategies for developing metal alloy catalysts, focusing on precisely controlling structure interfaces to maximize catalytic activity. The interactions at the structure interfaces can be assertively manipulated by tailoring the composition, morphology, and surface properties of metal alloys, decisively influencing catalytic selectivity and efficiency. This chapter highlights the importance of understanding the relationship between alloy composition, structure, and catalytic behavior, emphasizing the undeniable significance of structure interface effects in catalytic processes. Through innovative design and synthesis approaches at the nanoscale, metal alloy catalysts unquestionably offer promising opportunities for advancing high-performance and efficient catalysis through the strategic control of structure interfaces.
