Fire Department and Authorities Having Jurisdiction (AHJ) Collaboration
Abstract
This chapter introduces the critical relationship between the project team and the fire department and other local authorities having jurisdiction. Recommended meetings and collaboration timeframes are described. Meeting topics that will ensure a smooth project will be outlined. Submission of the construction fire safety plan and updates during construction will be reviewed.
