Abstract

Plans and protocols must be in place during a fire emergency and in the aftermath of a fire on a construction site or within a building. While it is an event everyone hopes will never happen, preparations must be made to be ready for the worst-case scenario. Emergency situations are chaotic and unpredictable; therefore, any preplanning that can be completed will help ease the situation. These procedures must be established early on in the project, reevaluated often, and communicated to the necessary individuals.
