CT of the Shoulder
Abstract
This chapter begins by introducing the use of computed tomography (CT) for shoulder pathologies. It describes the indications for using CT on this body part and then addresses the technical aspects: positioning, technical parameters, and contrast. The next section considers CT anatomy and normal variants and then explores pathologic findings: developmental/congenital, trauma, degenerative conditions, neoplastic conditions, and finally miscellaneous pathologies.
