CT of the Elbow
Abstract
This chapter begins by introducing the use of computed tomography (CT) for elbow conditions. It describes the indications for using CT on this body part and then explores the technical aspects: positioning, technical parameters, and contrast (intravenous (IV) and intraarticular (IA)). The next section considers CT anatomy and normal variants and then explores pathologic findings: developmental/congenital, trauma, degenerative conditions, neoplasia, and finally miscellaneous pathological findings.
