Disease Management and Patient Care with Artificial Intelligence
Abstract
A major concern in today’s fast-developing and evolving world is the creation and spread of new illnesses. Using technology for disease prevention, control, and prevention has become an enormous problem for the medical community. With today's hectic schedules, it is almost hard to stick to a healthy routine. The difficulties mentioned above may be overcome by using a smart health monitoring (SHM) system. Industry 5.0 and 5G have just ushered in a new era of affordable, high-tech sensors that can be used for real-time health monitoring of persons. Faster, cheaper, and more trustworthy health monitoring services from far-flung locales are now feasible thanks to the SHM, which was previously impossible with conventional medical infrastructure. The inclusion of blockchain architecture has increased the security and privacy of patients' sensitive data and reduced the risk of data abuse. Using Deep Learning and Machine Learning to examine health data for numerous goals has aided in the achievement of preventative healthcare and fatality control. As a result, chronic illnesses may now be identified earlier than ever before. Cloud computing and cloud storage have been integrated to make the services more real-time and cost-effective. This chapter provides a comprehensive overview of SHM, discussing both past and contemporary achievements in the field with the problems that still need to be solved.
