Abstract

Wearable textile antennas have become increasingly important in healthcare applications driven by miniaturization trends in wireless technologies. These antennas are gaining prominence in various communication scenarios, including public safety, mobile computing, tracking, and navigation. Design requirements for wearable antennas emphasize flat structures and flexible materials. The choice of materials significantly impacts antenna characteristics, with substrate permittivity and thickness particularly influencing the bandwidth and efficiency of microstrip antennas. Low-profile, lightweight designs are essential for wearable 62 applications. To ensure reliable communication between wearable devices and receivers, antennas must be optimized for maximum radiation efficiency and high gain. Electromagnetic simulation software enables thorough analysis of antenna performance parameters, including radiation patterns, impedance bandwidth, and return loss. These analyses provide crucial insights for optimizing designs for specific biomedical applications. The study comprehensively explores the design and development of wearable antennas for biomedical applications, focusing on achieving reliable wireless communication in healthcare environments. This investigation encompasses the use of wearable textile materials, miniaturization techniques, and optimization approaches to enhance performance while maintaining comfort and practicality for healthcare applications.
