Abstract

The potential of nanomedicine, a science and technology subject, has recently captivated researchers in the domains of physics, biotechnology, chemistry, and medicine. Everything that is done at the nanoscale, or at the level of individual atoms and molecules, is handled by this department. The development of nanotechnology and its introduction have greatly benefited a number of scientific fields. This is particularly significant when it comes to the creation of novel pharmacological compounds 2 and products. The introduction of nanomedicines to the pharmaceutical industry, the debate surrounding fundamental ideas pertaining to these nanosystems, and the various approaches used to further our understanding are the main topics of this review. The obstacles of implementing nanotechnology, particularly in the pharmaceutical development of novel therapeutic products and related regulatory issues, are critically explored, with a primary focus on the European Union setting, due to the qualities granted by the nanoscale. Issues about the apps that are currently in use, as well as upcoming improvements, are finally discussed.
