End Use Application of Intelligent Techniques for Sustainable Development
Abstract
Sustainable development is a development that meets current needs without compromising the ability of future generations to meet their own needs. The number of intelligence technology applications is increasing, including in the water management, health and hygiene, education, social sector agriculture, economic, and energy sectors. It is important to review the long-term development effects of the advent of intelligence and its growing impact on many areas of society. The purpose of this chapter is to examine the existing evidence of the positive and negative effects of intelligence approaches on achieving sustainable development goals. Intelligence techniques are helping to achieve the goals of sustainable development. Intelligence techniques enable new technologies that drive efficiency and output. Proper legislation and regulation are needed to facilitate the rapid growth of intelligence systems. Technology based on intelligence methods will have gaps in trans-parency, accountability, safety, and ethical standards, which is detrimental to the development and long-term use of intelligence techniques. This chapter also examines the impact of intelligence techniques on sustainable development due to the growing impact on the energy sector. Intelligence 296 techniques increase the efficiency and reliability of power generation in a smart city environment. Furthermore, an intelligence technique helps to integrate renewable energy into smart networks by effectively controlling risk and bridging the demand-supply gap. This chapter explores how the use of intelligence techniques is beneficial for sustainable development. Also, this chapter has been analyzing the role of intelligence techniques for sustainable development in the different sectors through sustainable energy supply.
