Conclusion
Abstract
The concluding remarks reflect on the preceding chapters and situate them within recent discussion of “justice” or “transitional” archives. The conclusion reiterates the concern of the book in how stories from the past are filtered for relevance to the space in which they appear, are interrupted by challenges and disagreements about their modes of presentation, or are creatively layered with anachronistic references to create new propositions for memory. It moves to how the current political situations in the three countries has affected or may affect the politics and potential for the archives to make an intervention.
