Abstract

This chapter argues for a provisional or temporary reclamation of the category of the lumpenproletariat as a conceptual and historical basis upon which to formulate a critical standpoint and conceive a (post)coalitional composition on the basis of which we might begin to articulate an abolitionist political project that takes aim at the structures of prison, family, and work.
