First person – Jing-Fu Bao
Abstract
ABSTRACT First Person is a series of interviews with the first authors of a selection of papers published in Disease Models & Mechanisms, helping researchers promote themselves alongside their papers. Jing-Fu Bao is first author on ‘ C-C motif receptor 2 is a core pro-fibrotic factor in uremic cardiomyopathy’, published in DMM. Jing-Fu conducted the research described in this article while a postdoc in the lab of Aiqing Li at Southern Medical University, Guangzhou, China, investigating the pathogenesis of and therapeutic strategies for uremic cardiomyopathy.
