Abstract

We present a case study for final exam scheduling at Bucknell University. We worked in close collaboration with the Registrar’s office, ultimately designing integer programming models and heuristics. We implemented our approach in open-source, user-friendly, and highly customizable software, both saving time for the Registrar’s office and substantially improving student exam schedules.
