O DISCURSO DA INCLUSÃO: uma análise dos efeitos de uma notícia no Jornal Opção Tocantins

This article examines how the discourse of inclusion is constructed in the news piece "MPTO demands reserved spots for people with disabilities and the inclusion of people living with HIV in the PM entrance exam," published by Jornal Opção Tocantins. Drawing on production conditions and imaginary and discursive formations, it analyzes the text's meaning effects. The findings show that MPTO's progressive discourse challenges traditional legal narratives by linking legal language with social justice, highlighting the transformative role of institutional and media discourses.
