‘Prima’ e ‘dopo’ la logica: Paci, Whitehead e la critica relazionista al neopositivismo
Abstract
This paper explores a crucial aspect of Enzo Paci’s thought, focusing on his original elaboration of a relational perspective inspired by Whitehead’s process philosophy. The analysis highlights how Paci rethinks the relationship between logic, science and experience, distancing himself from the rigid frameworks of neopositivism. By revisiting the tension between logical abstraction and the concrete dimension of lived experience, Paci lays the groundwork for a philosophical approach that connects scientific inquiry to the historicity and processuality of existence. The essay shows how this relational approach anticipates possible dialogues with broader phenomenological concerns, without yet fully developing them. The result is a reflection that affirms the primacy of relation and temporality as key dimensions for rethinking modern scientific and logical paradigms.
