Abstract

. ② During the study period, the ESV along the Yellow River Basin increased by 124 956 billion yuan. Among them, forests, which represent ecological functions, and waters, which represent ecological production functions, made the greatest contributions to ESV. Hydrological regulation, climate regulation, and soil conservation were the most important types of ecosystem services along the Yellow River Basin, and different type of ecosystem services were mainly in a synergistic relationship. ③ The response degree of ESV to the evolution of different land use functions along the Yellow River Basin had significant heterogeneity. The transformation of ecological functions into ecological production functions had the greatest contribution rate to the increase of ESV, reaching 101.78%. The transformation of production-ecological functions into living-production functions had the highest contribution to the decrease of ESV, reaching 37.81%. The research results have certain decision-making reference value for the sustainable utilization of land resources and the optimization of the ecological security pattern along the Yellow River Basin.
