Abstract

. This review systematically summarizes the molecular mechanisms underlying TCP functions, including DNA binding, protein interactions, miRNA-mediated regulation, and epigenetic modifications, with a focus on their roles in floral organ development and the regulation of flowering time. Furthermore, we discuss the potential applications of TCP genes in molecular breeding, with the aim of providing a theoretical basis for comprehensively understanding the TCP regulatory network and leveraging this gene family for crop trait enhancement.
