Abstract

mangroves ranges from 622.5 to 832.8 g C m -2 year -1 , which was regulated by a 42 combination of global solar radiation, air temperature, and tidal inundation time [8]. 43Mangrove plants do more than fix CO 2 , and they create the niche for downstream 44 organisms.Root exudates deliver labile organic carbon that primes the surrounding 45 sediment and stimulates the decomposition of existing sediment organic matter.Root 46 exudates can also lead to the stabilization of carbon as mineral-associated or microbial Page 2 of 10 https://mc03.manuscriptcentral.
