Linear Spectral Analysis under Nonlinear Laser Frequency Sweeps
Abstract
Optical frequency nonlinearity in frequency-modulated spectroscopy has been a long-term challenge. A linear spectral analysis approach under nonlinear frequency sweeps is proposed using an optical instantaneous frequency estimator. It is experimentally validated using a DFB laser and an integrated SiN microring resonator, achieving a testing speed of 5µs.
