Photonic spin-Hall holography
Abstract
As a fundamental technique for complex light field analysis, holography has become a powerful tool in biological imaging and optical information processing. However, traditional interference holography relies on the optical coherence and stability of the imaging system, which severely limits imaging accuracy. In this paper, a simple and low-cost photonic spin-Hall holography (PSHH) technique is proposed, which aims to construct an optical differential measurement system combining both high stability and accuracy. The photonic spin-Hall effect induces polarization-dependent waveform distortion in the incident light field at a refractive index gradient interface. Equipped with an appropriate polarization analyzer, the phase and amplitude gradients can be accurately captured, allowing the reconstruction of the original light field. It offers a simple implementation method for holographic imaging based on optical interfaces, which holds significant application value in the fields of bioscience and optical computational imaging.
