Rupture Zones and the Unified Medium: A Field-Theoretic Model of Gravity, Matter, and Spacetime Structure
Abstract
This manuscript develops a unified field-theoretic model in which gravity, electro magnetism, quantum coherence, and matter formation emerge from a single underlying medium. The theory is built on three interacting fields: a scalar density field S, a vector directional field Uµ, and a coherence field Ψ. Gravitational effects arise from gradi ents in S, electromagnetic-like behavior emerges from excitations of Uµ, and quantum phenomena correspond to variations in Ψ. A central prediction of the model is the existence of rupture zones, finite-volume regions where the medium reaches a critical density Sc, causing spacetime to collapse without forming singularities. Matter is interpreted as stable density–coherence con f igurations of the medium, while dark matter arises naturally from transient density stabilization fluctuations analogous to WIMPs. The resulting framework reproduces the weak-field limit of general relativity [1–3], avoids singularities [6,7], and provides a unified explanation for gravitational dynamics, matter formation, and cosmological structure
